As a reward for all year 6 children passing their SATS tests and for all the hard work that they had put in throughout the year, we held a sleepover and BBQ at school. They took part in a variety of activities including: inflatable gladiators, a Haribo Scavenger hunt, giant-sized volleyball and even told ghost stories (that they had written) around the campfire. They enjoyed an evening meal, a movie in their pyjamas with McFlurries and then slept in tents within the school hall. Very little sleep was had but everybody had a great time even the teachers. In the morning, they had a breakfast feast, completed challenges for rewards, put down the tents and then were picked up by their parents. What a fantastic way to end their last few weeks at primary school.
