At St Mark’s our curriculum is underpinned by our School’s vision.
‘So, in everything do to others what you would have them do to you.’ Mark 7:12
Our aim is to engage all children through a challenging and stimulating curriculum, which promotes a climate in which creativity can flourish and encourages life-long love of learning.
The curriculum is based around half termly topics through which all subjects in the primary curriculum are taught. Daily mathematics and English lessons focus on high quality teaching of essential key skills which ensures the children become independent learners who are confident and resilient. As a result, the children are able to apply these key skills in a meaningful context across a range of curriculum areas, including when using digital technology.
‘You provide a well-planned and engaging curriculum.’ OFSTED 2017
